So I just started the first page of my self-made magazine I'm calling "Fashion Blog". It's just going to be a fashion blog on paper. Nothing too special, but I'm excited! It will give me a project. I'm going to require one entry a day.

Free people will be one of my big factors. I'll also use other images I find on the web as well as my own photos and art-work. I might use some articles I find, ones that I write!

I hope I'll be able to get several of these scrapbooks and that I'll make them look better with time. And if I'm lucky, I might even get to use them in the future in a portfolio type of thing.

On a different subject, tomorrow I will be making a test run of a fall, honey-crisp apple sangria, virgin version. ... yum. Hope it turns out good! oh! And I will also be trying Italian gelato very soon! So excited!

The Burning House Project. What would you take with you is the house was burning?

I feel like I am changing. The things I want are changing. Not only changing, but I'm finding things out about me. Things that I like, that make me happy, dream... Then only problem is that I'm not sure how to get these things. Some times it seems easy, but then I stop, and look around, and it seems impossible. I live in a smal town filled with very conservitive people, and many that aren't into change. Not only that, but I want to be some place a bit warmer. Some place that my house isn't just a normal square-cut rooms. I want to live some place with interest. I know I'm not that close to getting a house, but I wish I was. ...

I want to live where there are many windows, maybe even a green house. I don't want to live by a main street. I want to like close to a market where I could buy fresh food and flowers. I want to have a creative job, photography or working for a creative possibly even fashion business seems like it would be wonderful! I just feel like I don't have what it takes. Yes, I love photography, but how many places are there that have available what I want. Free People would be an amazing place to work; on the Creative team! :D

Some time I think I'm crazy and there is something wrong with me. Most of the time I want to be this very down to earth, creative person... and other times I want to have high class very dressed up things, like that beautiful blue and white necklace. I feel like there are so many things that I want that clash with each-other, and I don't know how to properly balance them.

Lets have a girl moment. Some things that sparkle and glisten in the light. Some shine, and beauty accompanied by precious material from loving Mama Gaia. Being a woman I would just like to say that I LOVE beautiful jewels. In good taste mind you.
So recently I found my wedding ring!!! Finally! I had so many ideas of what I wanted, and I think this one fulfills all my requests. The poor girls working that day who had to listen to all my noes. But here is the end result.

Yup. Here it is. My ring. only the solitaire in the middle will be a Semi-Tiffany set with a 1/2 cart. Sapphire in the middle. Yes, you are allowed to drool! I'm So! excited to get it! Even if I do get it before June next year, I can't wear it... So I shall try my best to wait patiently.

My really bad attempt to make it look more like what I'm getting. But it is a start :D

And do you know what a beautiful ring needs? That's right, an amazing necklace. Which can be foun at Swarovski!

This Will be mine. I will have it. It looks stunning on me and makes me smile. A lot. Like if I was ever sad, all I would have to do is put on this amazing necklace and look in the mirror!!! But until that most joyous day... I shall dream of it. And remember the wonderful day at the mall when one of the store sales people asked if he could put it on me. And what a wonder idea that was. we both just awed at it. Sales person. THANK YOU!!! You made my day that day, and now I must get that amazing and gorgeous necklace!

Alright. I'm done raving about the code named "Necklace Gorgeous!!!".

Alright. So my very soon sister-in-law-to-be found out that her baby will be a girl! yay! That means I will have a niece to spoil! I'll be helping with painting the room. The plan so far is to paint the room a medium-light pink/peach/salmon colour and have a cherry blossoms tree painted in the corner where the bed will be. And one of the walls will be a black. That will add a nice touch I think. So I've gotta make up some sketches for that tomorrow.

Michael and I may have finally found an officiant for our wedding! We have an appointment with her at a book store cafe Sunday. I have also decided on a wedding dress!

Senior Trip!!!
Hello Chi-town! Well, sort-of. My beloved and super awesome fiance is taking me to Six-Flags and Medieval Times! I've been to Medieval Times once, it was pretty kool. I loved the vendors there, replica armor and armory, dinning ware and jewelry...etc. Very exciting.

I'm in the process of creating a Summer List. The beautiful and spirited Gala Darling introduced me to this idea (as she has many things). I've begun to start some of my list with things such as Sunglasses (I just recently bought my first pair!), Sundress, New fabulous shoes. I'll be getting a new swim-suit (the first new one I will have owned in my life!) and getting some delicious smelling body care products! This summer I want to make my best and funnest summer that' I have ever had!

Jobs
I have two jobs for at least the summer and possibly for longer. One is at a tech place called RedFrog Technologies. A more local computer place. We do Computer tech fixing/installing/updates, sell internet service, and web services. Along with my awesome tech job I will be doing specialty interior painting with a great woman named Diane. (Faux-Real, LLC) I will be learning a lot of new skills and having a great time doing the things I enjoy.

MY ENGAGEMENT!

So Monday morning I woke up around 11am after having some unpleasant dreams My love and I went upstairs to make food. Kraft Mac&Cheese was the choice and I began to boil a pot of water and get the ingredients out. after realizing that my man had already gotten up and taken a shower an hour before i woke up I took one and made it downstairs before the water even started to bubble. (I'm quick!) I finished making our food and about half way through my bowl the UPS truck pulls up. "Go down stairs." He told me. I did as i was asked and waiting down there confused and continuing to eat my cheesey noodles. After a time and lots of whispers from up in the kitchen he came down stairs. Taking my bowl aside and starting to kiss my I wondered 'what does he want?' i said "What?!" With a ridiculous grin on his lips he asked.

"Jennifer..?"
Kiss.
"Yes? That's me...."
"Jennifer, will you marry me?" he asked (with only a bit of dificulty opening the boxed ring.
And then with out delay I replied. We continued kissing until he got the box open with one hand. He stopped and grabbed my hand and placed Nenya (my ring) on my finger.

We kissed more, which was a bit difficult because our smiles were so big it was hard to keep behind our lips when they touched.

I love Michael with all my heart! The spontaneous after delicious Mac&Cheese Proposal, I love it!

As far as "The Date"... We don't really know yet, but next year during the summer or spring is a realistic idea. It would be nice to have it this year, but we want to be financially stable and be able to get a place of our own.

I love my life! I love all that it has given me. I love The boy to whom I am now engaged to. I Celebrate our past, enjoy the present and look forward to our future!

"I don’t remember when I saw my first fairy, but I know that I spent my childhood chatting to them, instinctively understanding that each tree, stream, or district had its own indwelling spirit. Then, when I became a witch, it was part of my training to learn to communicate with the Wildfolk, as we called them. As we cast our circles in the woods, fairies flocked around their edges. Sometimes they were visible only in glimpses out of the corner of the eye; sometimes they manifested fully as small, earth-colored humanoids.

Witches and Fairies
This relationship between witches and fairies has always existed. Look back into the records of witch trials and you will find that most witches maintained that their powers came not from the devil, as their accusers claimed, but from the fairy folk, who taught them how to make potions and cast spells, and who gave them the healing gifts. However, The Fairy Ring is not only for witches, but for everyone who loves fairies.

There are fifty-two cards, each showing a different fairy, and these are divided into four suits—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—according to when the fairy usually makes its appearance. Their chief holidays are the eight festivals of the ancient year: Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Midsummer, Lughnasa, Harvest, and Halloween, and these are depicted in eight additional cards, making sixty in all.

Each fairy has its own advice to give and lessons to teach, and the book that accompanies The Fairy Ring cards explores these. Perhaps you might encounter the card of Wayland the Smith, who some say is king of the elves, and who lives in Wayland’s Smithy, a chambered Neolithic long barrow in Berkshire, England. It is said that if a horse is tethered at the Smithy under a full moon, the owner, returning in the morning, will find it newly shod. Wayland was a popular character in English myth, related to the Saxon smith god, Wieland or Voeland. Its horn, called an alicorn, is said to be an antidote to poison, and can cure many ills.

This pathworking will take you on a journey in your imagination to meet the gentle unicorn. Find a quiet place where you can lie down or sit comfortably and relax, undisturbed. Start by relaxing your body completely. Let each muscle in turn relax, beginning with your toes, and working up to your head. Breathe deeply, and with each breath, you become more and more relaxed. Imagine that you are in a woodland clearing, standing beside a still, clear pool. It is warm and sunny, you feel relaxed and comfortable. Water trickles into the pool over mossy rocks and you notice a golden cup attached to the rocks by a silver chain. You are thirsty but feel that to drink from this cup without an invitation would be wrong. Suddenly the air seems to shimmer and the forest hushes. A resplendent, stately white unicorn appears before you. You feel purity and nobility radiating from it. After a while it steps towards the pool, dipping its silver horn into the water. The water glistens and seems filled with a soft light. Stepping back, the unicorn invites you to drink. You dip the golden cup into the water and drink deep. It is cool and sweet and fills you with energy. It is the water of healing, of renewal. Feel its force enter you. When you are ready to leave, bow to the unicorn. Gradually bring yourself back to waking consciousness."

Ostara is the Germanic Maiden Goddess of the spring. She lends her name to this festival. Her symbols are the hare, spring flowers, and, of course, eggs. This year the Spring Equinox sabbat falls on a Sunday, which is associated with the Sun, new beginnings, and success. Pick up some fresh flowers for your home. Dye some hard-boiled eggs for the sabbat with your friends and family today. Go ahead and make Ostara baskets for your kids. Include Ostara’s hare (the chocolate bunny), hide those eggs, and have some fun! Also, don’t forget to go outside and celebrate the beginning of spring. Look around you, what signs of the approaching spring do you see? Are daffodils and crocuses blooming? What about the buds on the trees— see how they are swelling? Celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year by spending some time in nature!

Irish Day

On March 17th, a day we call "St. Patrick's Day", there is often lots of green and lots of drinking that occurs this day. But what few know is why St. Patrick is given a day to himself. St. Patrick was known for his ridding Ireland of the 'Snakes', those of the Old Way. Where a representation of a snake in honour of the Old Way. To me this is a day of sadness and joy as well. We honour the 'Snakes' and can still celebrate the history of the Irish culture. Being part Irish I am often tied between what to do on this day. But I drink and celebrate to the Old Ones on this day, I celebrate Irish Day!

The Vernal Equinox

The Vernal Equinox, also called the Spring Equinox, Lady Day and ”Alban Eiler” (which means, "Light of the Earth) is one of the Lesser Sabbats or Low Holidays of the year, one of the four quarter-days. It is also called the Festival of Trees and is a time to cultivate gardens and celebrate Mother Nature's bounty.

Ostara is a celebration of conception, regeneration and the triumph of light over darkness. Life is returning to the land and we begin to see the blossoms of springtime and new plant growth. This marks the first day of spring and as the Goddess regains her strength, she prepares for motherhood once again. During this time, the hours of day and night are equal, and the light is overtaking darkness. This is the season to celebrate the victory of life over death. The young God is maturing, and is once again the consort of the Goddess. The Goddess, who has returned to her Virgin aspect, welcomes the young sun god's attentions and conceives a child. And the child will be born nine months hence, at the next Winter Solstice. And so the cycle continues.

Many call this Equinox "Eostara" or "Ostara". And because of this it is often mixed up with the christian holiday of Easter because it also celebrates the victory of the sun god (or Jesus) over darkness (death). The name 'Easter' was coined from the name of a Teutonic lunar Goddess, Eostre and her symbols were the bunny and the egg, both symbols of fertility. Her holiday, the Eostara, was held on the Vernal Equinox at the Full Moon. Of course, the Church doesn't celebrate full moons, so they celebrate Easter the first Sunday, after the first Full Moon, that falls after the Equinox.

Spring is coming! I"m very excited about this. Spring is the season of rebirth. Like every new moon, the energy of refreshment is in the air. Change approaches and new life begins, old life renews. I recently found an article that I had very strong connections to.

"You will probably find that magick doesn't turn out to be at all like
you are thinking. Everything in our world including us, is made up of billions and
billions of tiny atoms...there are many atoms together that are less than stable, the
outermost orbital electrons aren’t certain as to which atoms
they belong to. They then may migrate from one atom, to the next,
and the next and so on. However, as one electron migrates from
an atom, that atom takes on a free electron from yet another atom.
This chain goes on in an endless manner, and serves to
demonstrate the idea of balance in nature...
Now that we can see how electrons can move from one atom to
another, and we know that all objects in nature are made up of
these atoms, then we also know that there is a constant exchange
of energy. Free electrons are shared among all things, including
you and me, with no exceptions and because all matter is
comprised of electrons, we can say that all elements in nature are
